Her 'signature style', inspired by her creative
use of artifacts salvaged from her frequent world travels, has attracted a large celebrity clientele and
is showcased in residential and commercial projects from California to New York. Kari's success on television
and in the design world has afforded her the ability to doggedly pursue her other passion - animal rescue.
In 2001 Kari founded the non-profit organization Ace of Hearts (named in memory of her beloved dog, Ace) devoted to rescuing and finding homes for dogs slated to be euthanized in animal shelters
throughout the Los Angeles area.
